Years ago on the road with a rock band, I started enjoying making pictures of what I saw. So much, that eventually my music career was replaced by photography. That change evolved into 40 years of photojournalism. All the while, though, I was photographing what I saw in ways that I felt only I could see it.

Nature. Landscape. Evolution. There is always much to see in the Midwest. Teaching yourself to see it is the trick. Teaching yourself to be able to bring it home in a fine art photograph is a step beyond. That is my life's goal.
